Melissa joined Action for Global Health in January 2021 to develop and implement the digital campaigns and communications strategies.

Prior to joining the team, she worked at Manchester Metropolitan University as an International Recruitment and Marketing Officer. She developed and managed digital campaigns across 10 different markets within South East Asia, East Asia and Africa.

Melissa is hugely passionate about the charity sector having championed those with hearing loss at The Royal National Institute for Deaf People as well as the elderly at The Oddfellows Friendly Society where she set up and ran the marketing function for their financial brand, ‘Unity Mutual’.

At university Melissa studied Business Studies before deciding to specialise and attain her Professional Marketing Diploma from the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
